AECOAP – Associação Ecológica Alto Paraíso (Alto Paraíso Ecological Association) developed this site mainly to present some images of a critically endangered species. This site also shows the fragile situation of the habitat where this animal lives and makes public the actions supported by the association to maintain the biodiversity.

Brazilian Merganser
This is the only filming of the Brazilian merganser made in Chapada dos Veadeiros. This is one of the rarest and most endangered species in the world.
